Given the total number of SMEs that will benefit from the actions and results of the project, 50% will express interest in introducing the innovation process in their respective companies.

Carrying out 6 international benchmarking actionsthrough visits to reference companies and research centers in Central Europe.

Holding 3 training seminars for SMEs in order to enhance innovation and business transformation in order to accelerate the adoption of Industry 4.0.

Platform developmentas a reference instrument for large and small industries, research institutes, universities and interested people to participate in the fourth industrial revolution.

The project covers the North and Center Region (NUTS II), and aims to encourage the adoption of Industry 4.0 methodologies in Brazilian SMEs, in traditional and technological sectors, promoting benchmarking actions that allow them to assimilate the information necessary for their digital transformation , in order to enhance competitiveness and value creation.

 

The following operational objectives:

  1. Access new skills, good practices, concepts and knowledge generated in spaces with strong innovation dynamics, seeking to internalize and integrate them in a creative way into the companies' knowledge base;
  2. Promote the valorization and transfer of technology, the qualification of human resources and the development of new areas of competence, notably the digitalization of Industry 4.0;
  3. Guide SMEs, providing them with knowledge, information and tools, for business transformation in order to accelerate the adoption of Industry 4.0;
  4. Encourage innovation in the national economic fabric, through the development of companies and entrepreneurs, raising awareness among entrepreneurs about the importance of digital presence and technological incorporation into business models;
  5. Promote the integration of companies into global production chains and the specialization hubs that constitute them, in order to enhance innovation and the internationalization of SMEs;
  6. Strengthen cooperation networks, international replication of relationships established with other companies/R&I research centers;
  7. Increased profitability, associated with the adoption of technological systems in a production context, ensuring the possibility of predicting and preventing production stops, as well as optimizing (preventive) maintenance and thus equipment efficiency;
  8. Promote the national economic fabric in target markets as synonymous with quality, sophistication and technologically robust;
  9. Promote international partnerships (chambers of commerce, research and development centers, business associations, agents, importers, among others);
  10. Stimulate participation processes;
