TCBL

TCBL is a Horizon2020 European project with 21 partners from universities to research institutes and incubators from 11 EU countries, which aims to create a framework for experimentation and testing of innovative solutions for the textile industry in a dynamic and international environment, contributing to improve the performance of a sector that is increasingly losing competitiveness.

Sanjotec's participation in this consortium focused mainly on the creation of a network of Business Labs and Pilots that contributed to transform the current ecosystem.

Ativities and Sanjotec's Role

- Sanjotec's mission is to involve and support companies in this project, in order to bring Portuguese companies into the network.

The formal acceptance of companies in the network is trhough the annual Call for Associate Pilots. PILOTS companies that joined  this network were be able to benefit from access to international knowledge, resources and opportunities from other experts or labs that are part of the extensive partner network. Cumulatively this was also an opportunity to enhance the visibility and innovation of their products / services through the platform. The goal was to turn ideas into new entrepreneurial projects, or even experiment with new ideas / technologies in existing businesses.

- Sanjotec implementated two LABS.

These aimed at stimulating creativity, co-design methods, new materials and technologies, as well as enhance the use of regional know-how, resources and skills.

Thus,since 2015, Sanjotec began  the operationalization of two Labs:
